Can't help thinking that Elon Musk is offering gullible Southern Australians false hope .
He's just heaped coals on an ideological fire at a time when what is required is pragmatism . His Tesla enterprise is only viable due to the massive grants he has received from individual U.S. States and the previous administration .
The main thing the outages (should) have taught them is that they need to sort their baseload and dispatchable generation out before contemplating renewables and in-day/multi-day battery storage .
Musk has given them another excuse to keep their heads buried in the sand and waste more time and jobs .
