There has also been a delay in issuing the SPP - due to input from larger shareholders. I estimate at least 2 weeks delay.
This could be very useful because the closing date is likely to drift into next financial year, giving investors the option which financial year to sell some other shares in, to then invest proceeds in the SPP.
ie, sell other shares in early July for a profit and the tax does not have to be paid until April 2025, compared to selling some other shares now and tax is payable 1 year earlier - April 2024.
