Many thanks Zecs… that make the situation much clearer.

Keeping GK out of the loop is a monster mistake. Not only is he the best guy to collate all of the science as the Lead inventor . …and has always had a very productive working partnership with the patent attorney’s…. But he is one of the best lateral thinkers I have known.

One might argue that lateral thinking in science is not that important…although I believe it’s very handy in every walk of life ….but when it’s brought to bear in an arm wrestle with a patent examiner, GK has scored more hits than losses over the years. (Grin)
