IXR has stated they will be making mixed rare earth carbonate. The beauty of this is that the carbonate is a powder. Could be transported easily and deliverable by skel truck/trailer. Easy to transport a short distance to the train line (approx 20km). Ugandan government may well be able to set up a rail siding to suit IXR loading at close proximity to the Makuutu plant once plant placement is decided.
May well be able to seperate the scandium at the mine site should the off take/strategic partner require. This will require more in capex $ but selling the scandium separately will make a huge difference in earnings.
Anyway I have jumped ahead of myself but interesting all the same.
