Hi Raider - have pondered that too. Since basic "one use masks"are now being made out fabric that was made for the USA Baseball season then surely a mask of sorts could be fashioned from the graphene membranes.
One issue as I see it is the JV with CLQ is for water purification - thus Ionic and Monash have not licensed the JV to use for any other purpose - said any other purpose is a potentially different revenue stream for Ionic and Monash. [Ionic may be in discussions with other parties to develop air filtration]
So it is not a straightforward concept to pursue the graphene membranes for any other use apart from water filtration
notwithstanding this, it would be great if the JV produced a prototype graphene mask - "one use only" and present to government
