I agree with you and it's good to keep this chat level headed. If you talk about room temperature quantum computing I think there's only a couple of options involving photons or nitrogen vacancies in diamonds. Perhaps others I'm not aware of but they aren't many. Either way, the alternatives require expensive ancillary equipment.

archer is still a long way away. Archers qubits have a short coherence time compared to the alternative (but modern day electronics and error correction can be capable of handling that).

But IF it does work, the others won't be competitors, they'll be part of the audience. Archers strategy is widespread adoption, no other technology is saying that.
