a small part maybe, but wealth managers rely on the underlying investment markets to be strong so they can clip their margin, lol even AMP showed assets under management to be ok, but their cut off point was 30 sept. bet you AMP won't have had a good October for management fees. Having said this I am more interested in AMP because it has been more decemated. At$7.35 IFL is getting more interesting but would prefer IFL with a mid $6 in front of it. If markets have a sustained downturn, then that "great anz purchase" might not be so great, we have had a 10 year bull market, maybe time for the seasons to change
