Why would the company get sued? When a driver hits a pedestrian they don't sue the car manufacturer for making the vehicle, it comes down to the owner / controller of the device / machine at the time.
And why are we living in a world which before a product gets released is already looking at suing. If people want to make money quickly and easily, invest in IOT you don't have to sue.
