My take on the Noveda purchase:

Each sector will have its own unique velocity and roll-out of IoT
• energy and water utilities seem to be an early IoT front runner - the immediate cost savings and efficiencies are no doubt compelling - this is the space Noveda operates in - in this sector the clients are governments and major institutions - smart buildings contracts will quickly segue into smart cities contracts - Buddy therefore is well positioned with the Adelaide initiative and the Noveda collaboration - be nice to hear more about the US Dept of Transport project

• Healthcare and industry will also be early movers

• By next year we should see a clearer picture for IoT in consumer electronics / appliances etc

So the Noveda purchase is there to accelerate the business into the fastest moving IoT sector - build out those govt connections / build out the global reach of the business / in time for the following sectors towards the end of this year and beyond
