@DanMachine and @61289439, I now also understand the likely reason why Calvin Yeap joined from iPay88, subsequently left pretty promptly, then the iPay88 deal with IOUpay went cold (IOU kept blaming delays for quarter after quarter).
Calvin was a breath of fresh air in terms of communication style and could clearly articulate the strategy to Australian investors. It was a bit of a warning sign when he left after only a few months (the link to iPay88 was a big reason I bought in, back in the day).
Now I’m much clearer on what *may* have happened: I suspect once he was inside the operation he didn’t like what he saw, so he politely/quietly checked out.
