Now the regular posters can speculate on something else - LOL. The only thing I was ever really wondering about was why a long established profitable company would sell some of their profits (ie what was in it for IDSB) so cheaply. There were 2 obvious answers that came to mind. 1) They're dying in the arse (IDSB) and took advantage of IOU OR 2) They're looking to ensure they don't get left behind by "new" players in the market and need an IOU type of company to diversify and remain relevant.
My personal conclusion is that this deal is beneficial to both companies, hence it makes sense.
