People think of themselves first in most cases. Running a competition to benefit the individual would have a better result in my opinion.

For example:

"Tag 3 of your favorite local businesses to go in the draw to win 10,000MYR credit in the myIOU App".

Something like that I think would have more engagement particularly because individuals are struggling just as much as businesses. They'd increase app downloads and be able to approach the businesses that are tagged and say, "Look how many people want you to use our services, plus we have X number of app downloads". Perhaps monetary prizes aren't allowed in Malaysia? I don't know the local laws that well.
