Have had my eye on AEB since its listing as I like the story and the huge potential. And now seems a good opportunity to buy in, especially with the agreements in place for Holcim and China.
However one concern I have is in regards to IP protection. From what I can gather the only IP protection Teco.Bio/AEB have is a single patent application in Australia which is pending for one part of the McConchie-Stroud system (I don't think they get more specific than that). In the AEB Prospectus the letter from their lawyers Wrays dated 3 June 2010 stated that they had not yet evaluated the likelihood of success of the application, and also that they were expecting some direction from the Patent Office within the next 12 months. There don't seem to be any updates regarding this.
Any thoughts on the IP situation for AEB?
