Hi Tailspin,
I think they have done the tough one 1st. Getting a standard tablet view beta release on their page to support all other mobile devices is going to be much easier as it is not a specific application, rather just a re-work of what they have already got now (as you said).
I think we will see what you have said in times to come now that iPad App is done.
