Seems like there is some level of market expectation into this upcoming quarterly report.
So relentless 9c sell wall that was capping price into shortfall expiry disappeared. Some cheap overhang soaked, stock now being bid up, sell side thin AF and no one interested in the 9c bid today.
Oil price entering a new bull phase whilst US SPR levels are rock bottom. Perfect time to do a deal.
This 1c level is pretty significant. Technically looks poised after a year long base at this level.
