Skepticism is healthy - if information is found to be credible, then a skeptic will realise this.
What you are dealing with is "deniers" - no matter how credible the source, their minds will not be changed.
They have an agenda to follow, and their views will not change even when proven wrong by facts.
As has been shown over and over on HC.
In my view it is important to separate the two.
