So Britain plugs into Europe and Ireland when they run out of power, importing 4% of the total. Would Australians appreciate an AVERAGE of 4% of users subjected to rolling blackouts? That's reminiscent of S. Africa recently and it created chaos there.
Where do we plug our extension cord when things go wrong? Can we really afford to shut down conventional generators that can provide "on demand" power but require time to build up steam and absolutely loathe being cycled?
