I wonder if the reason the directors found a new project for the company (Nermap)was because the old story was going to end.
I would much prefer that the company distributes cash to shareholders rather than use it to find new reasons to 'continue the party'.
Unfortunately there is a disconnect between directors and staff who have a vested interest in carrying on the organisation and shareholders who want a return on their investment.
Directors and staff have been well looked after for years while the shareprice has fallen. They have presided over considerable wealth distruction.
