Iphone 7 released in Indonesia

It's worth remembering that this company has gone the last 9 months without (unlike the rest of the world ex-india) being able to sell the Iphone 7 or even the Iphone 6s nor the latest Ipad in 95% of their stores (Vietnam store the exception). Despite having to hock old product they have maintained steady-ish earnings and margins from the previous year (which benefited from more fresh releases).

All that changes tomorrow when a whole new suite of products is released in Indonesia thanks to a deal done recently between Apple and the Indonesian government. See the link below to check out for yourself. You'll also see the Story-i website has the release highlighted.

You can see the local price is pretty much the same as Australia (basically divide the price by 10,000 to get $A). I like this company because the Indonesian overheads are low which means you can still operate on Apple's low margins and run a decent profitable business - so this differentiates it from the Apple re-sellers who have struggled in Australia.

Although the recent Australian purchase suffers from high overheads they have at least bought it at a low multiple so looks like a decent addition and allows entry into the education space where this particular company seems to have carved a niche. They have been around a while and survived the fall of the other Apple re-sellers here so they can't be too bad.

Time to buy now at the point of most disinterest.

If only they could secure funding for the Indonesian acquisitions....
