Apparently EL had nothing bad to say about the 8% premium bid on how insulting it was. He is happy to sling more mud coopers way. Just beating the same drum how cooper have never found anything. Who cares? As long as they own the production stake, I don't care who finds it, its all revenue. Apparently a dollar five cash bid shows respect for mccann. He is a hypocritical about this bid as the IPM board is. Im sure Mike Scott will show respect for their board as well when he tells them they are gone.

At least this will have wiped the "take it or leave" smile of Hanc ocks face, the arrogance he had that they could instil in IPM holders the fear of being locked into a minority position in a company controlled by those that have yet to demonstrate eptitude on their own patch.

I'd say you are right and at 105 they have chosen a value point that they will be very comfortable with even without getting control. Presumably they have respect and confidence in McGann & co.

Do you know if those in the institutional acceptance facility are allowed out for a higher offer? as atm that seems mostly what COE have achieved.

And I was worrying over the weekend that I might be forced to accept the COE offer or be locked into an untradeable minority position.

I doubt this is the last or best offer, suspect we"ll be offered a little more by TA or others once this storm is over. Anyway another 10 days in which to access things.
