This is incorrect. The major SaaS offering analyses a series of chest x-rays (not CT scans) taken at different angles over the cycle of a patient's breath. This is cheaper and less radiation than a CT scan, and also offers the 4th dimension of time (seeing the perfusion of air during inflation/deflation to all parts of the lungs in 3D).
It is not just software, but a unique invention by Dr Fouras, using a series of mathematical algorithms to accurately convert 2D x-ray images into a clinically proven and reliable 4D lung assessment.
From what I understand, there is another XV analysis that does utilise CT scans, but this is not the major product.
