Hi dont think you can make the call regarding ESE as barely existing as a company They obviously have the capacity and technical and financial backing and have made CARBON FIBRE WHEELS and we dont know who there backers are and they have established linkages to their raw material suppliers We simply dont know their business strategy
Yes CBR has the first mover advantage but one business strategy in new product design is to let the existing manufacturer expend all the money on R + D then leverage their learning and adopt the best aspects at a fraction of the R +D expenditure
It is what the Japanese and the Chinese have been doing for several decades.
CBR has spent 150 million dollars to get to the stage that they are now at and they are a high cost producer with high input costs with limited OEM markets and limited models using their products and still not profitable .
