    Indeed future forecast's are crucial and I understand that extensive R&D, marketing, salaries etc generate outflows which in turn creates negatives on balance sheets.
    My point you missed is, why hasn't CBR taken off and why dont we see more carbon fibre wheels on vehicles if their wheels are leading edge?
    Their sole selling point is "Light Weight" but when you look at competitors ==> (Aluminium & magnesium alloy wheels) their properties are substantially greater in most fields. (Aluminium & magnesium alloys are used in F1)
    The truth is that carbon fibre wheels tend to lose cohesion due to cyclic loading over time and is prone to strains due to the hardness of the composite. Which is why you only see high end vehicles adapting to carbon fibre wheels. (Because they don't gather much milage)
    Dont get me wrong, CBR will be great if they were to dip into other sectors, but for now the risk may be too great.
