Hi all been reading the discussion and here are my thoughts hexcel which provides the resins building a plant in melb though if the cost will be less when locally produced remains to be seen the other majpr cost is the actual carbon fibre cloth they use and their is no plant producing carb fibre in australia Lemond composites is building a plant at deakin uni est cost 35 million amd have got a 5 mill govt grant but the overall cost considerations remain the same and with the vols of tyres they are talking about i wonder what car brands will adopt them as OEM
