The probes are definitely not in the ground, they've just Tweeted the "first of many" probes being installed. Only 999 more probes to install over next ~10 days. Not cheap installs either by the sounds of the Tweet - the COO appears to be doing them (would've thought there'd be cheaper options).
I can't see how they have any hope of having 1000 probes in the ground for the start of the season by end March like they said they would. But the message seems to be that everything is still on track, so I guess they have a plan.
