Not even going to attempt to wrap my head around that logic... I spoke to Mark Pitts on 2 occasions, whose general response was "well I can't guarantee anything but I can see your application and it being this early, it should be fine."
Moral of the story is unless you've got your chummy broker mates on the job you've got buckley's chance of receiving anything. As a young investor who plans on making his career in this industry... sure leaves a sour taste in your mouth. Really is who you know, not what you know.
