Look at the DRASTIC differences between these two companies, EXL and EOF, like this:

EXL is Michael Dell assembling bog standard desktop computers with off the shelf parts in a university dorm room in the 90’s. Then he went public and continued to assemble bog standard desktop computers in a fancy factory for years, doing the same thing as Gateway, Compaq and other long dead players in that industry.

EOF is Apple, writing their own operating system, experimenting with touch screens and handwriting recognition on the Newton in the 90’s. They were developing voice recognition, they were designing their own proprietary chips.

Gentlemen, if you own EOF, you bought Apple in the late 90s.

Those owning EXL bought Gateway, Compaq, at best Dell. Dell never invented anything. But it stayed alive. That’s about all you can say for them,

Apple changed this world, and put a good dent in the universe.
