Interest in manganese stocks were brought by Elon Musk on Tesla's battery day last September. He said an innovative new lithium-ion battery with a cathode that is 33 per cent manganese. Then EMN share price went up 1,000% over last few months.
This week VW Power day, VW unveils they will use high-manganese cathodes for the majority of its electric vehicles going forward.
FRB (market cap: $29m) has a better resource than EMN (market cap: $215m).
EMN's market cap is 7.5 times of FRB.
