One comment above suggested this can be amended over the phone with Automic. Well, I spoke with Automic this afternoon and the only way to change a registered holding is in writing. They have a form on their website which must be completed and submitted in writing. Once you have amended the name to match your HIN account you can then contact your preferred broker sponsored entity and transfer the shares into your account where the in-specie shares have been allocated.

Definately cannot be done over the phone.

@trashcansinatra - you are partly correct or what Automic says is NOT entirely correct.

I am aware of six different holders (not to mention those here complaining on H.C) that provided the exact registration details in every detail and furthermore they provided their HIN number and still the shares were not amalgamated.
I am sure Automic have received numerous calls to rectify this so that it reflects that their holdings of "in specie" and applied for shares are totalled together on the HIN they nominated at the time of application.

Why were we asked to provide HIN details if nobody even cared to execute properly.
It seems the problem is with Atomic and they should rectify by making it a simple procedure.
The reception one might receive at Atomic depends on who answers your call at the their end.
