One comment above suggested this can be amended over the phone with Automic. Well, I spoke with Automic this afternoon and the only way to change a registered holding is in writing. They have a form on their website which must be completed and submitted in writing. Once you have amended the name to match your HIN account you can then contact your preferred broker sponsored entity and transfer the shares into your account where the in-specie shares have been allocated.

Definately cannot be done over the phone.

I definitively did it on the phone. Maybe because it's for my SMSF and name was same, just address (accountants address for main HIN and personal address of director for other IPO shares) different....
