I think you’re right.I looked at GQG pre IPO but was put off by what looked like the opportunistic timing of the float. ie fully priced coming off an extraordinary period of returns on the back of the COVID bounce.
GQG has to maintain this momentum now to advance beyond its float price. It can’t afford to disappoint the market at any point in the short term or it will be sold off.
I truly can’t see that there’s any urgency to invest in GQG right now.
