    note such middle east wars have proven fleeting in past 10 years. this i imagine would be similar/fleeting. iran/israel do not share a border.

    There is strong external pressure to stop middle eastern conflicts due to the oil price- all countries buy oil.

    Gold will fall back a bit once there is a ceasefire.
