Agreed, I was just looking at the stats for IPOs in 2018, it makes for grim reading. It seems to be 'risk off' strategy at the moment.
"The average loss is a whopping 31.5%, the median loss is 17.9% There have been 85 IPOs (or RTOs) this year and only 18 of the 85 show positive returns, 65 show negative returns and two are flatA total of $9.783 billion was raised and the loss so far on the amount raised is $3.086 billionThe two largest listings - Coronado Global and Viva Energy are down 70.0% and 24.0% respectively"
Crazy stuff. this company looks decent though so hopefully bucks the trend.
