with NEM trading primarily in the US ticker NEM, it also trades in Canada as NGT.TO (about 250k shares today); of course ASX here as NEM.
Then you have UK, Germany (both very thin, not much trading) and PNG guessing not much as NEM
of course PNG for Lihir and Wafi Golpu assuming that continues; Kainantu request transfer of Ramu 1 hydro project - Post Courier

Apparently there is some movement to garner power source faster? for Wafi, not a big deal for now. I don't see how Harmony is going to fund 50% of this with Newmont..guess we'll find out. Maybe NEM buys them out once the final details are worked out. If it is like K-92, favorable terms, lease extended to 2035 w no issues- if like Barrick/Zijin's Porgera, yuck, we;ll see. Not material at this point or a few years out anyway.

Have a substantial holding in K-92, full disclosure; sold NCM on the deal and had NEM on and off looking to buy back in (in US) and will build to a core holding. NEM is in SO many etfs of course now ASX200 but S&P500, many US/CA mining type ETFs even base metal ETFs.. Penasquito MX mine strike settled, going into 2024 I think will be a great year for NEM w good divs possibly over 1.60US if gold cooperates.
