WA residential home builder Nicheliving has officially pulled the pin on its year-long listing aspirations, while simultaneously revealing it plans to come back for another shot.It had worked on its Australian Securities Exchange listing for more than a year, had been knocked back, reissued prospectuses and issued supplementary documents many times.In June the ASX confirmed it would approve Nicheliving’s listing subject to it appointing a chief financial officer, a director with listed company experience and a big four accounting firm.Nicheliving last week declared it was closing and withdrawing its $6.7 million share offer, with all money to be refunded.Yesterday executive chairman Paul Bitdorf said the process had gone on for “longer than anticipated” but would be restarted, with a new prospectus for a similar amount to be issued within weeks, for a December or January listing.Mr Bitdorf said Nicheliving had “made a lot of changes”, including acquiring new business units. As well, auditor PwC had provided three years of audited results. Given the magnitude of changes it would be clearer and less confusing to start again. “We are very confident that people who invested before will invest again,” he said.
