As crazy as it sounds Sabine, the answer is yes. The sales rep on the day will talk the surgeon through how to use the product. That is what they are there for. Of course the surgeon would have been interested enough to investigate whether it is a suitable fit for the patient prior to use. Sometimes it falls flat and no no nothing is for free. Any tool/equipment used will be billed. Also some patients are oblivious to what has been performed on them other than the fact that their fractured fragments of their eg: long bone is pieced back to what it was. You will be surprised. Depending on whether you are a patient with private health or just a public patient you will either receive the best of the best or the standard implant that is deemed safe by the government.
