Probably the latter...I feel there are strong parallels between this placement/offer and that of A2M (then ATM) in 2015. Share price is likely to be capped around offer price initially, with a spike once the HY results are released. Similar to A2M also in terms of company momentum and trajectory at that same point in the A2M story.
I will be participating to the extent that I am able. SPP likely to be scaled back for retail investors due to interest.
