plenti also has a conflict of interest in funding directly and providing a market. If the max lending rate drops they have the opportunity to buy the higher interest loan and fund it with the new lower interest.

couldn't possibly happen because they said they would monitor it in the IPO.

I wouldn't have a problem with it, although I think Plenti would be getting chump change from selling to investors, the volumes are already low from covid. Plus I have been trying to early transfer 10K for past 6 months with no opportunity to sell.

It would be mostly lending companies growing their own loan book or diversifying their loan book.
