I think the thread topic carries less significance now for DSH and even for other future IPOs. IPOs are valued by different methods but ultimately Mr Market will affect the price from begin of trade. Those choosing to participate in the listing need to make their own assessment.
Depending on the underlying reasons for listing, IMO, the original owners of the business want an exit strategy or sell down strategy and not simply to have fresh capital injections. On this basis, they want the price higher from the start and its up to the new owner/s to decide if its fair price.
In any event, if a new listing is well supported it may have the extra level of investment community support being the underwriter or sub-underwriters as back-up.
Price on its own is a meaningless discussion. You need to combine with number of shares issued too.
