Everything is relative I guess and salaries will depend on the past track record of the individuals.When I look at ASX peers:
- DCC: They just posted a profit of $2.6m in 2018 after four years of material losses. Their executive director makes $918k between base and performance bonus.
- ID8: Recently listed, declared revenues for 2018 of $1.7m however $1.5m are government grants so real revenue is really $186k for the entire FY18 (second year of operations) Cash flow negative obviously. Its CEO takes $145k home as base.
- TYM: Last 6 months they have already booked $300k in revenue and last year accomplished $500k (first year of operations). To be honest I am more than happy to pay $250k for Michael and similar amount for Reinier. Top managers dealing with well known banks, auditing firms, IT companies.... plus Michael is a senior SAP / Infosys director who was making serious cash.
