msx, that would seem to be the case. as there was no scale-back that to me suggests that it was not oversubscribed. Maybe people wonder how the 'team' will go with a global LIC.
I may have made an error of judgement when I didnt take up my offering for that reason but as i expect at least a 3% div from WAM in the next 6 months I saw no reason to risk that on a possibly smaller div from WGB within the first 12 months.Plus the cap gains in selling wasnt what I wanted to shuffle around. A bird in the Hand etc.
Maybe the $2.20 was put off?
As someone else in another WAM thread suggested that Geoff Wilson alluded to selling WAM, which was at a strong premium to NTA, and move money into WGB. It wouldnt be the first time I have heard of him saying that about WAM/WAX premiums.
