Hey Cake,

For your piece of mind, aswell as my own; I thought i'd quickly touch on the terminology of today's announcement, along with the word "only".

I keep finding myself reading back over the announcement, however the more I read it, the more confident I get in what it's telling us... And what's it meant to tell us? It's meant to tell us nothing, accept that we're sticking to our timetable. I feel that exact announcement could be used in any outcome, whether it be a black swan or a white elephant.

Even if MGMT knew everything was 99% go, it's important to give nothing anyway yet. They must protect themselves and the company from any backlash that could occur if something were to go wrong( Black swan anyone?). After all, we know the trouble ACL's had with their announcements in the past, and we know what will happen to PS if this doesn't work out...

Now the 17th of October is quoted because that’s the date the court approved the scheme, thus the Scheme became effective.

The “only” part is used in both the court approval (17/10) & trading halt announcement (`13/12), because the scheme is ONLY affect under the condition that Audeo Oncology completes the Fundraising and IPO by the 31 December 2012. Otherwise they must file again with an amended scheme of arrangement, sighting a further court approval.

The core body of today’s trading halt announcement was just copied from the court of approval announcement, which would have been based on something drawn up by lawyers and sent to ASIC back in October.

From my further interpretation it just looks like proper legal guidelines/ terminology has been followed when requesting today’s trading halt.

It doesn't make me feel anymore confident in Audeos success on Friday, however it doesn't make me any less confident either...
