I don't see why they are for the 'sheeple' if you buy based on your own conscience and based on likeing it because it's a good product. I have been using one of my friend's ipods ever since the first model was put out (the original IPod which is 5 years old now) which was long before any advertising campaign and I found the product to be really good. Maybe others found them to be that way and purchased them for that reason. Maybe they became aware of them through advertising but actually bought them based on how easy they are to use, how compact they are, and how the battery life is 7 hours. Maybe we should all live in tents because you don't want to be like the other 'sheeple' who live in houses. Education is what sets people apart these days. If you are educated then you will think first and not get sucked in to the herd mentality. Having said that we are genetically herd animals and that may make us all 'sheeple' in some way whether we like it or not.
