Just my opinion I guess, but a takeover by one of the CLAN defendants would not be on the cards as the technology they are arguing over is on the way out - being overtaken by 2008.
Hence the value for IPR is in the retrospective application 1998 - 2008 of this technology.
For IPR to be seen as a value proposition for one of the huge ICT multinationals they would have to investigate IPR's other intellectual property to see how future revenue streams can justify (to their shareholders) a bid to takeover.
I'd say....very remote possibility.
