Reading the IPS precis would make any new teechnology company have secpnd thoughts about starting in Queensland. But the glaring thing that comes through in my opinion is the lack of regulatory rigour from the start. There are undoubtedly things CXY could have done better, but blaming them for the lack of "start benchmark data" is flat cheek.
Maybe the hydrology was difficult, I frankly wouldn't know, its not my area, but regulatory rigour is . . . and DERM seem to only have woken from their sluimber to appease a few locals. AS for the ISP to make comment about the "socio-political" suitability of the site . . . . I am staggered! What's an independent specialist panel got to do with socio-political, notice the "political" part, not even "socio-economic" but "socio-political".
In others words the issues here are nothing to do with logic but with politics . . . . Queenslanders wave goodbye to common sense . . . .
