looking at AEMO data that is not correct...they started a steep rise before LNP won Gov, and continued to 2015, but interestingly all of the other States had similar rises, often starting from a higher level.
hard to see the exact increase on my phone, but from 2010 to 2015, they seemed to double, and Newman only in power just over 2 years
Anyway, most relevant point is that it happened in ALL OTHER STATES!!
