IMHO, a lot of spec stocks that become multi-baggers on the ASX do so with a lot of dumb luck (as you so eloquently put) involved!
Sometimes that is all you need along with persistence and belief you are on the right track!
The bottom line is, that's the ASX casino for you - you win some you lose some, it's a calculated risk after all for those investors willing to take a punt on a successful outcome!
