Hey guys, my experience has been exactly the same. Only dropping out when in my lower pants pocket due to interference with my body. I have been advised to use a top pocket or strap it to my arm for best results and to log the user experience on the iphone for feedback to the team. The lower pockets are borderline for connectivity so being tall probably adds to the problem. I could get about 20ft away before they start dropping out as well, but only with a direct line of sight.
