I love SXE; I am doing my due diligence. I recently spoke to a SXE technician, and they have enough work for many years. Given that the government is spending taxpayer money on renewable transition, these guys are in the box seat. So, in my view, the upside is limitless. The risks I see are finding electricians and tradespeople. Would you think they could be a takeover target? Given government-owned power networks (Ausgrid, TransGrid, Essential Energy) are pushing the work out to contractors, surely SXE would be a takeover target for a pension fund like Australian Super?
