It will be interesting to see what happens here. Israel had been on the front foot in Gaza but have overstepped the mark recently and are fast loosing support with key allies. Israel have enemies all around just itching for an excuse to attack and now they have it.
IMO there will be such a huge wave of drones and missiles arriving from all directions that Israels defences will be overwhelmed and there will be huge damage not only to infrastructure but their confidence that they can defend themselves. If big brother USA responds with a retaliatory strike then we are very close to WW3.
All that would be needed is the Panda to toddle over the strait into Taiwan and the majority of the northern hemisphere will be in conflict and although we won't be immune I am very glad we are nowhere near any of it.
